Some of you folks who have been on my e-mail list and/or who have browsed my websites since about 1998 will recognize the name of Richard Keech. But most of you will not know of him.

Richard was a pre–World War Two China Marine and his unit was sent to the Philippines (from China) a few weeks prior to the fall of Corregidor. When Corregidor fell he became a prisoner of the Japanese along with many others. The remainder of WWII was spent in a POW camp in Japan. After the war, Richard returned home, went to college, married and raised a family, and became a productive citizen, as they say.

In the mid–90s, another turning point occurred in his life when he shot and killed his former son-in-law.
His daughter had divorced her husband, and he, the former husband, had been coming to Richard’s residence to visit his children. Apparently, he had a history of spousal abuse, and he ultimately got into scuffles with both his former wife and then Richard, which led to the above.
Long story short, Richard was sentenced to what amounted to life in a California state prison...

Obama is Surprised [that] Vets do not want to pay their own Medical Expenses!

Here's his response when he backed-off his decision to let the military pay for their war injuries. What an empty headed person he is. Bad press, including major mockery of the plan by comedian Jon Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require veterans' private health insurance to cover the estimated $540 million annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty.

The President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal..

"Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained. "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn't compute." "I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country," Obama continued. " (Just like the suicide bombers. sounds like his Muslim influences surfacing.) "I wasn't asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit. I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."

Typical of an individual who never served a day of his life on active duty. What more could one expect from a politician at the public trough?

Send this to everyone you know, particularly every veteran you know, to show them just what President Obama thinks of our military people who fight for our country and are hurt and/or disabled protecting OUR freedoms.

If you read nothing else in this message, read the portion I highlighted in red bold print. This is shocking! Why am I not surprised?

Way back in the 50s/60s the radio/tv preachers warned about the new jungle moosic that was taking over and transforming the populace into the beatniks and hippies that are mostly history now—Manson still in the slammer, others in rocking chairs in nursing homes and asylums, most long overdosed and on a slab at morgues everywhere—but their hippy offspring are now in control….and the jungle beat goes on, doesn’t it!

Before Obama I do not recall hearing of him, though now his name is frequently mentioned in connection with both Hillary Clinton and Obama.

So I finally picked up a copy of his book, Rules For Radicals. the other day. Interesting book and an interesting guy–an eye-opener for those interested in what’s happening in America today.

The label of “birther” is fast becoming a noble badge of honor for millions of Americans who are not willing to let their Constitution die without a good ole patriot’s fight!

The leftist Obama propaganda press would love for you to believe that “birthers” are just a bunch of “crazy racists” that number in the hundreds, and that they have NO basis to demand proof of whom and what Barack Hussein Obama really is…

But the “birthers” actually number in the millions and the basis for their demands were set in stone by the men who wrote and ratified the US Constitution. If millions of American “birthers” are “right-wing nuts,” they are in good company with men like Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, John Adams and Ben Franklin.

It’s all in the name of research on finding a better way to tax motorists, and the pay is $895.

Wanted: 250 Maine drivers willing to let a stranger put a black box under their dashboard.

The reward: $895 and the opportunity to speak their minds about the highway tax experiment to a researcher.

University of Iowa researchers are seeking 250 motorists in Cumberland, York and Sagadahoc counties willing to have a computer tracking system installed in their cars for 10 months. The system could someday be used to tax drivers according to the number of miles they drive, rather than the amount of gasoline they consume.

Portland is one of six cities picked for the research, which is designed to determine whether a mileage tax would work better than the gas tax to support the country’s highway system.

MJ’s death was on 6/15, the 166th day of the year, with 199 days remaining). By rotating 166 we produce another 199; by inverting the numeric values of 199 we get 911.

Spite House continues the story of Colonel Tom McKenney after he left Vietnam a physical and emotional wreck. After lengthy rehabilitation, he was still left with one gnawing regret: his failure to kill Robert Garwood. Only the march of time and the words of respected military friends began to change his mind and plant seeds of doubt that, perhaps, he had been wrong about Garwood after all. More and more individuals, whom McKenney placed in a special category reserved for proven heroes, began to tell him of events and intelligence indicating that God had prevented him from killing an innocent man and a courageous Marine. General Tighe, Colonel Millard Peck, Captain Sam Owens, General Van Phat, and numerous former POWs all added fuel to a growing horror in McKenney's mind.

It culminated in a period of uncontrollable rage lasting almost 24 hours when he smashed mirrors, burned his uniform, and destroyed furniture, fired by the knowledge his own government had used him as a murder weapon in a war never meant to be won. McKenney purged his guilt when he met Jensen-Stevenson in 1991 and confessed to her, "I directed an official mission to assassinate Garwood behind enemy lines, because I believed what they told me. Would you tell him that I would crawl on my hands and knees to beg his forgiveness?" It was 1994 before the retired colonel and the disgraced private met face to face -- an emotional meeting to be sure.

A controversial suit brought by a U.S. Army reservist has been joined by a retired Army two-star general and an active reserve Air Force lieutenant colonel.

Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook filed the suit July 8 in federal court here asking for conscientious objector status and a preliminary injunction based upon his belief that Barack Obama is not a natural-born citizen of the United States and is therefore ineligible to serve as commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces.

When the GIs left Asia in ’73, the commie peaceniks thought they had won. And they had, for ten minutes. The grip of the military on the country loosened briefly.

Unfortunately the soldiers learned. Not how to win wars, which they do poorly if at all, but how to keep a war going. Winning a war isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. The promotions and contracts stop. When you are paid to do something, it is in your interest not to finish doing it.

The Pentagon’s first lesson learned was to avoid conscription, as the conscripted and their families will take to the streets. By using an army of volunteer suckers about whom nobody of importance cares, the military severs its wars from most of the country, which loses interest. The brass are then free to do as they choose.

The second lesson learned was that while defeating the enemy is not necessary, and perhaps not desirable, controlling the press is everything. And they did it.

So forty or so years after all the love-ins, the marches, the righteous dope (all of which may seem silly, but in my view preferable to watching a Cambodian mother screaming over the opened bleeding guts of her child) the Pentagon is at it again. Once more the jets howl over remote primitive countries, countries that did nothing to the US and couldn’t have, and promotions flow, and contracts, and generals demand more troops and more money to stop communism. Excuse me, terrorism. Soon, the Chinese, a better threat, coming to a theater near you. With the passing of years, one demon fades into another. Switching enemies is much easier now, what with search-and-replace.

Eric Holder wants to investigate the Bush Administration “torture” at Abu Grab. He thinks “water boarding” is terrible torture.

Here’s some of what Medal of Honor recipient and Viet Nam War POW Colonel Bud Day wrote about real torture. Colonel Day was shot down taken prisoner and brought to North Vietnam in 1967. In his books on his experiences, Colonel Day described real torture this way.

“I was put thru a mock execution because I would not respond. I was pistol whipped on the head.”

“I was hung [upside down] by my feet all day.”

“I escaped and got [shot during my recapture].”

“[Being shot] was OK…what happened after was not. They.. put me in the rope trick..almost pulled my arms out of the sockets. Beat me on the head with a little wooden rod until my eyes were swelled shut, and [pounded] my un-shot, unbroken hand a pulp.”

“[The next] day [they] hung me by the arms…re-broke my right wrist…wiped out the nerves in my arms that control the hands..rolled my fingers up into a ball…only left the slightest movement of my left forefinger.”

Proposed Smoking Ban Angers Some In Military

Gates considering report urging total prohibition for active-duty personnel

A Pentagon-commissioned report urges the Defense Department to ban smoking in the military, even by combat troops in battle zones, a proposal that quickly ignited a controversy among service members.

The study, which was completed late last month by the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences, recommends closing “the pipeline of new tobacco users entering the military” by prohibiting tobacco use in the service academies and officer-training programs like ROTC and eventually instituting a total ban on all use of tobacco by active-duty personnel.

A U.S. Army Reserve major from Florida scheduled to report for deployment to Afghanistan within days has had his military orders revoked after he argued that he should not be required to serve under a president who has not proven his legitimacy for office.

His attorney, Orly Taitz, confirmed to WND the military has rescinded his impending deployment orders.

Now we are talking a second stimulus bill apparently because the Viagra and candy we threw out to the special interests and big boys in the last one didnt work right. The American public thought there was supposed to be a benefit to them and jobs, wrong! Unemployment is almost up to 11% now, California is giving out IOUs and emptying their prisons of serious illegal alien criminals, while paying to send them back to Mexico so they can come back and commit more crimes. The US prisoners get to stay put but the illegal alien guys get their way paid back to their country according to attorney Steve Eichler of www.faxdc.com. As usual, US citizens are chopped liver and all other groups and invaders are special. Then there is are glowing housing and retail industry which is moving like a pregnant turtle on drugs.

Now we want to infuse more glorious help to the economy to help it recover. You mean funding underground, green turtle tunnels under Florida roads didnt do it? What about helping the special mice in the Bay area.at least Pelosi would make it happenno? What about the emergency of funding and fixing over 30 bridges to practically nowhere? At least drunks could now ride to the bar and country club....
